　　I am writing to tell you something about the activity Clear Your Plate Campaign you referred to in your last letter.

　　Clear Your Plate Campaign is intended to reduce food waste and help students realize how important it is to save food. Before the campaign, many students, unaware of their wasting of food, bought much more than they could eat and even threw the leftovers without a second thought. But encouragingly, knowing the significance of saving food after the campaign, more and more students are beginning to buy a proper amount of food for their meals. Actually, all of them find this mere action not only save food but money as well. They believe this life style is also environmentally friendly.

　　Personally, it is of great benefit to join in the campaign and form a good habit of clearing the plate. And it is essential to start with ourselves and start from now. Don’t you think so?
